CALGARY, Alberta, May 10, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — A Canadian pastor was arrested in dramatic fashion during a highway takedown on his way home after holding a Saturday service in defiance of COVID-19 health rules. The pastor had earlier made headlines for calling police and health inspectors coming to his church for two unannounced health visits “Gestapo Nazis.”

Members of the Calgary Police Service (CPS) stopped Pastor Artur Pawlowski of the Cave of Adullam church and his brother Dawid Pawlowski. The arrested and charged the pair “with organizing an illegal in-person gathering.”…

Crise en Colombie : 17 morts et plus de 800 blessés en cinq jours de manifestations

Des violences, lors de grandes manifestations contre une réforme fiscale ces derniers jours en Colombie, ont fait au moins 17 morts et plus de 800 blessés, et la mobilisation se poursuivait lundi malgré le retrait du projet par le président Ivan Duque. Le ministre des Finances, Alberto Carrasquilla, a quant à lui présenté sa démission. « Mon maintien au gouvernement rendrait difficile l’édification rapide et efficace des consensus nécessaires » pour mener à bien une nouvelle proposition de réforme, a-t-il déclaré….

Une réforme fiscale a soulevé l’opposition mais aussi des soutiens du pouvoir en place. Le projet initial a été retiré mais les Colombiens sont une nouvelle fois descendus ce lundi dans la rue. Seize civils et un policier ont été tués en cinq jours.
