Melbourne startup Cortical Labs launches the world’s first commercial biological computer, the CL1, using human brain cells. The CL1 merges human neurons with silicon chips to form a Synthetic Biological Intelligence system. Cortical Labs targets applications in medical research and robotics with this technology.
