La catastrophe sanitaire des pays riches

Récemment, le ministre algérien de la Santé  expliquait que son pays n’avait pas acheté davantage de vaccins parce qu’ils étaient trop chers. Il aurait pu préciser que plus de la moitié des doses néanmoins achetées avaient été gâchées, car la population algérienne n’en voulait pas [1]. Il aurait pu aussi se féliciter du bilan sanitaire Covid de son pays qui, comme les autres pays pauvres d’Afrique, s’en sort tellement mieux que les pays riches.

En effet, alors qu’au 10 mai 2022 les USA recensent 2 997 morts covid par million d’habitants et l’Europe 2 440/M, les pays à revenu moyen supérieur n’en comptent que 1000/M et les pays pauvres seulement 65/M !…
